Mars Incorporated best known for their candy bars is the worlds second largest manufacturer of pet food. That’s why it’s a huge leap that they are working on and planning to release a range of plant based pet foods.
An article in the Telegraph reported that Mars is concerned with environmental impact of traditional pet foods.
“The rising popularity of vegan and vegetarian diets for their relatively low impact on carbon emissions is meanwhile expected to extend to pets and is viewed as a market opportunity,” Said the Telegraph.
