On August 31st I was made aware of a video circulating across social media platforms showing two teenagers gleefully drowning a female kitten that appears to be around 4 or 5 months old given her size.

We are posting an uncensored version of the video here but please be aware it is graphic and heart breaking should you choose to watch it.

In the video the two teens who have been allegedly identified by locals in Warsaw, Missouri in Benton County as 8th graders Johnny Webb (Seen in the video) and Brodi Winfrey (filming it and drowning the cat).

Brodi Winfrey says in the video: “Johnny what are we doing? So, let’s drown this cat.”

Brodi then drops the trapped cat straight into the pool of water. The cat is seen panicking moving back and fourth as she tries to get out for air.

Johnny Webb: “Leave it in there for a few seconds after it drowns.”

Brodi Winfrey: “I will”

Brodi is heard loudly and excitedly breathing in a very disturbing way that any normal person would find disgusting.

As the little cat continues to pace back and fourth getting noticeably slower Brodi Winfrey chimes in once again saying:

“3…..2….1…. Bye! Bye!”

Then followed by:

“What the fuck?! This is a water cat!”

Johnny Webb then responds with a laugh:

“This is a fish, it’s not even a cat it’s a fish.”

As the kitten stops moving and bubbles rise up with her last gasps Brodi focuses in for a close up before then bringing the trap up out of the water and declaring: “Dead!”

When I first encountered this heartbreaking video I posted screenshots without the video with a description of its contents in an effort to find out who the two teens were.

Within an hour people from Warsaw Missouri who know the alleged murderers that made the video were commenting or messaging me. People were even tagging the alleged mother of one of them Samantha Winfrey.

Thanks to an out pouring of disgust and concern from residents that live in Warsaw a bigger alleged picture began to emerge about Brodi. 

A few locals allege that he also stabbed a dog to death in a kennel and it’s alleged that his mother breeds corgis and it may have been one of those dogs.

It’s also alleged by several sources that Brodi was already on house arrest and probation for other unknown offenses.

An account named Brodi Winfrey on Facebook posted the kitten that was drowned in the same trap on a local Warsaw lost and found pet group further reinforcing who committed this crime.

Many parents that allegedly go to school with the teens are scared about their own children being near them after this incident. Their fears are very warranted as it’s a well known fact that the vast majority of serial killers started by harming and torturing animals.

Jeffrey Dahmer and Ted Bundy both admittedly enjoyed torturing non-humans as children and teens. They were practicing what they would later translate to humans. It’s imperative these two are held accountable for their alleged actions before they hurt more non-humans or graduate to humans.

We reached out to the Benton Count Sherif’s department investigating the case but because the alleged perpetrators are juveniles no information can be given.

As someone who owns a cat rescue and cat cafe I see the cruelty of humans every day but this was beyond comprehension.

I believe nobody should die without a name because we are all deserving of being someone therefore we are naming her Lizzy.
