This week Burger King will be adding three more new meatless impossible burger options to its menu at 180 locations in the united states. The Impossible Whopper Jr. (a smaller version of the Whopper), The Impossible Burger (a burger with pickles, ketchup, and mustard), and The Impossible Cheese Burger (which will use bovine mammary fluid cheese unfortunately).
The fast food giant will also be adding the impossible burger as an option to its children’s meals. According to the previous quarters earnings report the Impossible Whopper boosted their sales by 5%.
This all comes hot on the heels of the small test at 30 locations in St. Louis just this past spring that quickly sold out in days prompting Burger King to expand the plant based burger option to all 7,000 plus locations nation wide.
With their launch of the Impossible Burger in the UK and Europe coming up soon they are proving that the future is vegan!
