Starting the 1st of the new year Whole Foods will be serving JUST Egg at the “hot bar” area in 63 of their stores in Hawaii, Arizona, Las Vegas, NV, and Southern California.

The three new plant based egg sandwiches which will be available during breakfast hours. You can choose from an egg sandwich with: 

Gardein sausage, JUST Egg, and Good Planet cheddar cheese

Lightlife bacon, JUST Egg, and Good Planet cheddar 

-Spicy Soyrizo with chipotle aioli and Good Planet cheddar.

The bread of all three sandwiches will be made with brioche bread or an English muffin from LA bakery Rockenwagnor.

In addition to the new sandwiches some Whole Foods will also be carrying Just Egg breakfast pizzas at their “pizza stations”.

“We are always looking for great partners to help us expand our vegan options, JUST Egg is a fantastic product we know our customers are going to be excited about.” Prepared Foods Associate Coordinator Megan Tucker said

In 2018 Whole Foods launched in 58 locations three plant based vegan breakfast sandwiches that were made with the EatGUD plant based egg patty. Also on January 1st the grocery chain will start carrying those sandwiches as a grab and go option in three flavors:

-V’Egg and Cheez

-Chipotle V’Egg and Cheez

-Garden V’Egg and Cheez

The Whole Foods vegan breakfast sandwiches game will be on point for 2020 without a doubt.
