Bryan Adams Says 30 Years Of Veganism Has Kept Him Young Looking At 60
.
Bryan Adams is saying 30 years of veganism is why he looks so young at 60 years old. He’s been vegan for over three decades and now speaks out on the benefits of a plant-based diet.
“I’d love to see a comparison photo of me if I hadn’t taken this path,” Adams told The Mirror about his choice to go vegan.
“My guess is [that] I’d be a lot heavier and perhaps I’d have gone grey. Oddly, at 60, neither has happened, and I can only attribute that to what I’ve been ingesting.”
Adams is soon to be touring on his “Shine A Light” tour in the U.S. and Europe for 2020 he has partnered with The Mirror’s “Million Mirror Trees” campaign to help plant a tree for each ticket sold on the tour.
The Mirror’s “Million Mirror Trees” campaign that started with the news website giving away 20,000 native trees in the UK two at a time to 10,000 readers of The Mirror.
In the article announcing the campaign The Mirror said:
“Right now we are facing the gravest ever threat to modern life on Earth and scientists are clear that urgent action is needed.
What we do now will shape the future of our planet for generations to come.
All of us can make a difference in the fight against climate change and today we are helping you do just that.
Working with the Woodland Trust, we are giving away 20,000 native trees – two each to 10,000 readers – for you to plant at home or in your community.
It marks the beginning of a brilliant new Million Mirror Trees campaign, which we are working on with A Trillion Trees, a joint venture of the world’s largest conservation charities – WWF, BirdLife International and Wildlife Conservation Society who are together fighting deforestation and to restore forests around the world.”
The “Million Mirror Trees” campaign has since combined with trilliontrees.org to reach even farther and have an even larger impact. It’s amazing to see so many getting behind this campaign including Bryan Adams, it will certainly make a difference.

Why do we equate looking good/healthy in our 60’s and beyond as looking “young”??? Ridiculous! We look the age we are; how can we not? It’s marketing and advertising that have created our obsession with youth. I’m 67, many of my peers and I look good; we aren’t freaks of nature. Yes, we eat healthy, we exercise and don’t smoke or abuse drugs/alcohol. But the way we age is mostly genetics. I”m so sick of younger folks telling me that I dont’ look 67! What does that even mean? Stand up loud and proud for your age, elders! We earned every wrinkle.
