Aldi in the UK has added a lot of new plant based vegan options to their stores just in time for Veganuary and the flurry of new plant based dieters this month sees. Desserts, snacks, lunch and dinner options have all been increased
A record breaking 300,000 people have signed up for this years Veganuary so Aldi and other retailers should do well with the massive increase in demand for plant based vegan options seen in 2019 thatās certainly growing into 2020.
On January 2nd of 2020 10 new vegan products including: main meals, desserts, ready to eat meals, sandwiches and more will be launched at all stores across the UK.
Several vegan sausage products will be available including: vegan sausages that āresemble the real deal in both shape, size and tasteā, Vegan Rosemary & Onion Sausages, BBQ Jackfruit Vegan Sausage Roll, and No Pork Vegan Sausage Roll.

Three new vegan pizzas will be launched: BBQ Jackfruit, Spicy Cauliflower or āBaconā and Mushroom.

Their new vegan sandwich / wrap line consists of:
– A Limited Edition Eat & Go Korean BBQ Style Chickān Sandwich with Korean BBQĀ āchicken style piecesā wrapped in spinach leaves, and topped with pink pickled onions and vegan mayonnaise.
– Vegan Onion Bhaji with Sweet Potato and Cauliflower Wrap stuffed with onion bhaji, spiced cauliflower, sweet potato purĆ©e, pickled red cabbage, mango and apricot chutney and spinach in a spiced tortilla wrap.
– Classic tuna and cucumber sandwich substituting the Loma Lind Fishless TUNO made from textured soy protein, which tastes of seaweed powder and vegan fish flavoring.
Ready to eat meals include: Mushroom Bolognese, Three Bean Chilli, Smoky BBQ Jackfruit, Red Pepper & Mango Curry and Yellow Thai Curry.
For dessert Aldi has launched the Magnum inspired Leone Vegan Chock Stick in both plain and crunchy.
