We’ve featured the vegan hotspot in Atlanta several times before including visits from celebrities like Shaq pounding a Slutty Vegan Burger, to the many time’s owner Pinky Cole has given back to her community by paying for students tuition to Clark Atlanta University.
Now the plant-based burger joint is giving away free food on Monday to celebrate their one year anniversary at the southwest Atlanta restaurant.
Actress Keshia Knight Pulliam who is known for playing Rudy Huxtable on “The Cosby Show”, social media personality Pretty Vee known for her work on the MTV show Wild ’N Out, and A.J. Calloway the original host of BET’s 106 & Park will be helping give away the free vegan food.
Guests at the 1542 Ralph David Abernathy SW location are asked to text Slutty Vegan at 678-846-3255. Once they send the text, they will get a reply that serves as their ticket for a free menu item.
“Over the past year, we have impacted Atlanta in a huge way with our fast-casual junk food that is completely plant-based,” founder and owner Pinky Cole said in a statement. “Every day, people are standing in line for hours to experience the juicy goodness of plant-based burgers, and this is our way of showing our gratitude.”
Cole began Slutty Vegan as a food truck in the summer of 2018 which went so well she was able to quickly open the 1542 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd. location soon after in early 2019.
Not slowing down anytime soon Pinky is opening another two restaurants to spread the plant-based deliciousness she brought to Atlanta. One will be at 482 Edgewood Ave. close to the Eastside Beltline and the other will be in Jonesboro.
Slutty Vegan has had an amazing 2019 constantly trending in google search results, appearing in the news, and giving back to her community. 2020 is looking like another bright year for this unstoppable vegan entrepreneur.
